Line Maintainer Apprenticeship Program




We are pleased to announce that I.B.E.W. Local 9 and the Middle States Electrical Contractors Association will begin accepting applications for the Outdoor Electrical Worker/Line Maintainer Apprenticeship Program on January 12, 2026.

Please note that applications will be limited to the first 100 submissions. An additional 50 applications will be accepted and kept on file for six months in the event the initial 100 applicants are exhausted.

In order to apply, all applicants must provide the following documentation.

  • A valid CDL-A driver’s license with air brake endorsement.
  • Original Social Security Card
  • Resume
  • Original high school diploma, G.E.D. or original transcript in a sealed envelope from the educational institution. Absolutely no copies will be accepted
  • Be at least 18 years of age
